Program overview
BS Computer Science (Specialization in AI) is designed to equip students with a solid foundation in core computing principles, alongside specialized knowledge artificial intelligence. The BS(AI) program is structured as a full-time, daytime curriculum, designed to cover the forefront of technological advancements in fields such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Explainable AI, Evolutionary Computing, Computer Vision, Software Engineering, and Natural Language Processing. The program emphasizes both theoretical understanding and practical skills. Students will engage in hands-on projects, internships, and research activities that prepare them to address real-world challenges in various sectors including industry, healthcare, entertainment, and national security. The curriculum promotes ethical and professional responsibilities, teamwork, and effective communication, preparing graduates to become adaptable, lifelong learners and leaders in the rapidly evolving field of computing. Graduates can pursue careers as: AI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, Natural Language Processing Specialist, Computer Vision Engineer, AI Consultant, Robotics Engineer and Research Scientist.
Admission Requirement
HSSC / A-Levels (12 years of schooling) or equivalent with at least 50% marks and Mathematics. Pre-medical students without Mathematics may apply, subject to completing two Mathematics courses in the first year.
