Vice Chancellor Attends Universities Finance Commission Meeting

Vice Chancellor, Shaheed Mir Sikandar Zehri University (SMSZU), Khuzdar, Dr. Sohrab Khan Bizenjo, attended a meeting of the Universities Finance Commission (UFC) chaired by Mir Shoaib Nosherwani, Provincial Minister for Finance, Government of Balochistan. The meeting was also attended by Finance Secretary Jahangir Kakar, Secretary Colleges & Higher Technical Education Muhammad Hashim Ghilzai, senior government officials, and Vice Chancellors of public sector universities across Balochistan. The meeting reviewed various financial, administrative, and developmental matters concerning public sector universities. Detailed discussions were held on the financial requirements of universities, recurring expenditures, and measures to address the financial challenges faced by higher education institutions in the province. The participation of SMSZU reflects the University's continued engagement with provincial higher education forums and its commitment to strengthening institutional development and financial sustainability.
